Successful Mission of Chandrayaan-3

 INDIA IS ON THE MOON NOW

Chandrayaan 3 successfully landed on the moon today 23 August 2023 at the target time of 5:34 PT (18:04 IST) in the evening with Pragyan (rover) in its belly and the rest is history after its predecessor failed in 2019… .

                           


After successfully landing Chandrayaan-3's Vikram lander on the lunar surface, India has become the first country to successfully land a spacecraft near the South Pole of the Moon. 

The 615cr Chandrayaan -3 mission was launched on July 14.

Chandrayaan-3 is the result of the work of thousands of scientists, engineers, our employees and industrial and support teams across ISRO and other institutions, INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANIZATION Chairman S.Somnath said while addressing the space audience. the agency's mission operations complex in Bengaluru after the successful landing.

                           

The third version of India's Chandrayaan mission aims to demonstrate safe landing and roaming on the lunar surface and conduct scientific experiments on the spot.

Developed with a budget of less than $75 million, the spacecraft consists of a propulsion module, a lander and a rover that together carry seven science instruments... the lander will conduct experiments on seismic vibrations, near-surface plasma, lunar temperature, thermal conductivity, elemental composition and spectral earth signatures.....
